Anomaly Korea isn’t tower defense it’s tower offense. The common theme of tower defense games is to destroy moving enemies before they make it from point A
to point B. But, how about switching the paradigm a bit by making your units becoming enemies' target & using your skills
to guide your units to a safe point. Anomaly Korea is well worth
checking out. It is a fun game, with well-thought out ideas.
Anomaly Korea storyline is familiar to fans of
alien invasion, with mechanized machines at street level. With top-down visuals, you have to direct your convoy on a number of missions through hostile streets and pathways, using resources wisely to achieve success. Using a planning tool, you have to design a path to get through. The shortest route isn’t always the safest, as the driveways are lined with enemy gunners.
Additionally, you have the ability to change the positioning of my vehicles, hiding damaged ones and protecting my big weaponry. Your job is to pass through the enemy's fire and get to the mission point safely. The developer did a good job of rendering a futuristic war-torn city, and the planning overlays helped to isolate the goodness of the actual fight screen.
